The latest full-length novel in The Whicher Series is almost here…

An American Bullet

Winter in Colorado. A storm moving in. A passenger train collides with a car. Whicher, returning home to Texas, is called to assist a marshal onboard the train. On arriving, no trace of him can be found. But a young woman asks to be arrested…

An American Bullet, third in The Whicher Series, is a stand-alone story; as with all the titles, you can read the books in any order. For those that follow the overall arc, this one is set ten years before events in An American Outlaw – in the early 2000s, with Whicher in his late-thirties, unmarried, no family, and working for the Abilene US Marshals Office.

It’s a different kind of story set in a different kind of place – I hope it appeals to new readers, as well as to everyone that enjoyed the earlier books. It got under my skin early, though it took some writing. Hope it grabs you the way it grabbed a hold of me.

You’ll be able to get your hands on it imminently…

Very Best,

JS.
